History

The Firm’s journey is rooted in a tradition of hard work, determination, and a passion for entrepreneurship. Tom Dragicevic, our founder, was shaped early in life by his family’s remarkable story. When Tom was four years old, his parents immigrated to the United States from Croatia, bringing with them a steadfast work ethic and a dream of building something lasting. For over 20 years, the family operated a grocery business, which not only provided for their family but also instilled in Tom the value of perseverance and an enterprising mindset.

At the age of 12, Tom’s first foray into business management came when he was given responsibility for the cereal aisle. From ordering and customer service to managing accounts receivable, this early experience laid the groundwork for his commitment to the field of accounting and his desire to support others on their entrepreneurial journey.

In 1995, driven by passion and vision, Tom founded the firm in downtown Portland. Over the years, as the business expanded and relocated to Milwaukie, his hands-on leadership set a high standard, consistently placing the firm's mission at the forefront while embodying our core values of serving others, resourcefulness, and a commitment to ongoing learning. This has become the foundation of our culture, guiding how we serve our clients, collaborate with our community, and support one another. It is this blend of core values that has paved the way for our evolution into a trusted partner for business owners and high-net-worth individuals alike.

Recognizing that our strength lies in our collective expertise, the firm evolved in 2009 from Tom Dragicevic, PC to TD Consulting Group, PC. This transformation was more than a change in name, it was a commitment to fostering a team of dedicated professionals to serve our clients. Today, TD Consulting Group is recognized as a modern, forward-thinking firm that blends core values with innovative practices and technology.
